Men killed in workplace accidents

Two men died in accidents at work in Christchurch and Auckland.

A 30 year old man died in Christchurch after he was crushed by a generator as it was being unloaded at the branch of Hornby TransDiesel.

St. John was called to the site of the Calgary Place TransDiesel at 11:51 today, but I found the man dead at the scene. The Fire Department was also called.

Christchurch South Detective Colin Baillie, said the dead man did not work for TransDiesel, and came from a contracting firm engaged by the transport company.

"Initial investigations indicate the man was a generator of transport between the two sites.Upon arrival of the second site, while attempting to move the machine, it appears that he became stuck between the truck and the generator and died on the site.

This group is like the wind windmill classic, usually used on farms day earlier at the pump on the water. The other type of group is called the vertical axis wind turbine.This type resembles the popular egg beater. Whatever the group of wind is used to generate electricity, you'll always be able to give a good result, provided, of course, that the amount of wind in your area is enough to power the turbine.
