Man Arrested for Trying to Sell Stolen Dump Truck, Heavy Equipment

Police arrested a Milford resident of 33 years on four charges after trying to sell heavy equipment - including a dump truck - undercover agents.

Joseph A. Russo, 33, of 73 West St., Milford, was charged with four counts of receiving stolen goods, according to a police news release.

The arrest was reported about 9:26 p.m. Monday.

According to the police, Russo was in possession of stolen heavy equipment in a location behind the Doubletree Hotel, and tried to sell the items to undercover agents of the Department Sutton Police, who worked with the Milford Police .

Milford police say they have determined the material was stolen from a landscape and construction company in Millis.
