Sept. 7 (Reuters) - The trustee in liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities Inc. received a vote of confidence last week when U.S. District Judge Kimba M. Wood ruled that the theories used to recover valuable customers money taken out of the Ponzi scheme before the fraud was been discovered.

Although the decision has been made of wood in another case, it throws cold water on an effort by the owners of baseball team the New York Mets to win the dismissal of a similar case where the trustee is demanding Madoff $ 1 billion.
