Golden Spread hosts dedication of Antelope Station

ABERNATHY - Area business leaders and the community got a look inside the operations of the Antelope station here Monday as more than 300 people attended the dedication of the natural gas to the north power generation plant in the city.

The ceremony was organized by Amarillo-based Golden Spread Electric Co-op, which built the installation of approximately $ 200 million.

Construction began in spring 2010 and the plant went commercial this past June

Antelope Station consists of 18 9 megawatts, gas-operated, reciprocating engine generators with quick-start technology.According to Make Gold President and CEO Mark Schwirtz, they are able to achieve fully operational in less than 10 minutes - compared to traditional gas units which can take 1-4 hours to start.

Sovereignty

Let me begin with a statement that horrify some of you. It is possible to exaggerate the sovereignty of God. It is possible to do it not because God is sovereign less, but because the ideas of God's sovereignty is not ours, and we sometimes pretend that something is a property of sovereignty when it is not. This is especially common when it is actually a property of tyranny.

But some people contend, is not simply the tyranny complete sovereignty? Is not the problem with tyranny a man, no human being should have that much authority, something obviously does not apply to God?Well, maybe, depending on how we define tyranny. But I am thinking above all a sense that a tyrant is beyond the law. The law in this case would be the moral law, which is an outgrowth or reflection of God's nature. God is certainly not beyond his own nature.

I've written two paragraphs and I do not think I've caused enough trouble, we'll start swinging. The chief doctrine that I meet that distorts sovereignty is the idea that God choose us regardless of anything from us. It's the same thing that God chooses whom to save in a totally arbitrary.To prove this we need to dive into a brief (I promise) discussion about the random and arbitrary.
