We drive all the way through town and stay for at least an hour each time, murmuring to each other and contemplating the meaning of yellow rubber wheel non-flat and all types of forest on the planet. Steve is a bit like Harbor Freight, but remarkably better. (They are a local company, do not go running to obtain the phone book if you're not OK.) They have tools and high quality brand names, small U.S. manufacturers, stainless Pakistan and China during the cheap-o. The aisles overflow with just about every tool imaginable, and even branded goods at affordable prices. The thing about Steve is that we never know what we find, and it might not be there next time, we'd better get it if we wanted to, if we have a job for him or not. I went looking for a hunt a little heavier hammer than I, because I know I've seen them before - but not this time. So he goes to Steve.I found a 16 oz brass hammer, I was looking for weeks on site.
