Welp, Brett and I had wonderful plans to spend Saturday at Apple Hill, until he learned he would have to work ALL weekend to finish a draft by Monday. And when I say every weekend, I mean, he woke up, planted his butt in front of the computer, and do not leave (except to get food) for thirteen hours. TWO DAYS.

Although some women reportedly threw a tantrum, I practiced my self-control and decided to choose joy instead. If I were stuck at home all weekend with a hermit work of a husband, I would at least be productive.

And I've been productive.

I cleaned the whole house (even the kitchen sink and stove, rough), did all the laundry, wash my makeup brushes, cleaned my hair accessory drawer (yes, I have a whole drawer for this), organized my shoes, baked banana bread, ordered our Christmas cards, went to Lowes alone to find material for my craft projects (I did not even ask for help!) , annnnnnd makes this fabulous little screen earring for a friend who loves jewelry. Ta-da!
