What bands helped to shape Zane's impeccable taste in new music? Zane Lowe is one of the...
As a career resurgence going, Nick Lowe has been as quiet and calm as the man himself. Despite being the son of Johnny Cash-in-law. much of the family Stiff Records and the production of the first albums of Elvis Costello, Lowe has never exactly been in fashion, even his best songs are little guilty pleasures (especially cruel to Be Kind). Later in life, he embraced his cool image with glee, white hair and debonair of the coat. His previous album was self-deprecatingly called at my age.Since 1994, The Bird Can not beautiful, Lowe has published a series of elegant, carefully composed albums drawing from this intersection between the great country rock and roll and soul. The old magic is the last of them and, if it contains few surprises, it reaffirms Lowe songwriting prowess diminished and soft, relaxed authority. So reliable are these albums for fans of Lowe's hard to believe that it is now four years since the last.
